DAYSHEET SIGN IN: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM

Requirements for dispatch:

  1. paid up dues receipt,

  2. current government issued ID (i.e. drivers license, passport ) for safety training,

  3. check or money order  in the amount of $20 for state apprentice license if out of state or no state license,

  4. Social Security card,

  5. clean shaven for industrial calls,

  6.  Safety training is required of anyone who is dispatched to a refinery or chemical plant. Basic training is approximately a 4 hour computer course, and then you will also take a site specific course which is 1 – 1 ½ hours.  This training is good for one year. If one gets laid off or changes you will be required to take the new site specific training. If the contractor transfers employees safety training is taken on company time,

  7. drug testing on industrial calls,

  8. some industrial calls require criminal background check.

MOTIVA BACKGROUND CHECKS

Motiva is requiring background checks to be complete before employment begins. This means that it is anywhere from 2 to 7 days before an employee would be allowed to enter plant.

 

Motiva requirements are a 7 year reporting convictions, pending, cases with outstanding warrants and deferred adjudication status for violent misdemeanors and any felony.

“Violent” Misdemeanors:

Assault

Battery

Bodily injury

Cruelty to juvenile

Deadly conduct

Disorderly Person

Escape

Harassment

Resisting arrest

Resisting public officer

Robbery

Terrorist Arrest

Throwing deadly missile
